Become a Krav Maga Instructor

Our General Instructors Course (GIC) is renown as being the most comprehensive in Krav Maga education in the world today. The course operate world-wide and is delivered by our highly experienced Global Team of Instructors.

Divided into three phases of applied learning over 180 hours (23 days), the GIC will develop your physical Krav Maga skills and combine it with the ability to teach others through a comprehensive coaching programme.

Successful completion of the course is dependant on meeting specific criteria at the end of each phase, concluding with a final examination of both physical skills and teaching abilities at the end of phase 3 where you will be awarded a Graduate Grade in Krav Maga and Instructors Certification under Krav Maga Global (KMG).

Prerequisites for KMG instructors

Acceptance onto the GIC is through application to the UK Branch of Krav Maga Global and authorisation from the UK Director of Training.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE COURSE, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum age requirement of 20.
  • Two years of Krav Maga training with a recommendation from an current KMG Instructor; or
  • Four years in another martial art, boxing or kickboxing, with good punching and kicking skills.
  • Relevant experience in teaching others or a recognised teaching qualification

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Good physical condition and general fitness.
  • A clean criminal record
  • The ability to fund the course in full

  • A telephone interview with our UK Director
  • A personal interview with our UK Director
  • Physical Skills Assessment (subject to experience)

The total cost of the course is £1,970,00
plus VAT ( £2,364.00 )

Phase 1 – £500.00
Phase 2 – £932.00
Phase 3 – £932.00

Payment is made in advance by cheque or bank transfer before each phase or in full as one payment prior to the commencement of the course.
